Out of all the Buffy/Angel/Firefly actresses, the only one who comes close to WW for me would be Jenny Mollen w/ a really good wig, but in the end, i think a big 'ol casting call and an unknown may be the way to go.

There will be a highly publicized world wide search for the perfect unknown and then the role will go to (wrongfully) Angelina Jolle or (rightfully) Charleze Theron.

Angelina Jolie would make a bitchin' Wonder Woman. She's even tall, at 5'8". Biggest problem would be looking at the screen and seeing Angelina Jolie, not Wonder Woman. (Similar problem I had -- one of many -- with "Superman II". First movie, that was Superman up on the screen. Second movie, it was Christopher Reeve.)Charlize Theron will probably avoid superheroes, after "Aeon Flux" goes down in flames.

JB, did you ever have the same problem with George Reeves as you did with Christopher Reeve after the first "Superman" movie?

JB, and everyone else: Thanks for not making fun of my incorrect spelling of the two lovely ladies' names.

As much as I enjoy Charlize Theron -- both as an actress and as eye candy
-- I just don't think she looks Mediterranean enough to pull off the
character. I know she was born in South Africa, but does anyone have any
idea what ethnicity she's from? She looks Northern European to me.

Supposedly Theron's father was French (or of French extraction) and mother is German (or of German extraction).
I was surprised to learn that, as she looks pretty Dutch to me (those
little features and wide face), and so many South Africans come from
Dutch stock.
Edited to say: She does look quite a bit like her mother.
Edited to also say: I can't currently think of anybody I think would be
better as WW than Catherine Zeta-Jones (it's not even that much of a
problem that she's about a million years old). She might have to
put on a little muscle.
