I don't remember the issue, but it was a story by Busiek and Immonen where Flash Thompson becomes Spider-Man instead of Peter. Flash acts like a villain, so Peter must stop him using a spider exo skeleton.

Actually, and strangely enough, it was not written by Busiek but by Terry Austin, who also inked it. One of my favorites, along with the Byrne FF story.

Was the number for Armored Avengers and does anyone have a cover they can scan of the book?

It was What If Vol. 1 #3 and someone already scanned it on the previous page of this thread.

I seem to remember another What If story based on JB's Captain America for President story that ran in Cap #249-250.  I think it was What If # 26 but I haven't seen this comic for years, so I cannot be sure.

Probably the first ones, writen by Roy Thomas.

Bill Mantlo, JB and various others did a good job too on the original series.

I don't like as much the second series of the 90's. even if there were good issues too.

Doc Doom as a hero, fighting Mephisto to save his wife's (?) soul. Sad, wrenching, haunting.

Ahh Ok, I was looking for a cover with a bunch of Iron Men. What about the issue when Hulk becomes a barbarian, anyone read it and was it any good?

My favorite. A beautiful coda to this lovely, tragic tale.

I read the Hulk as barbarian one a while ago.  I remember enjoying it, but it didn't make enough of an impact that I can recall the whole thing.  It has to do with the Jarella storyline.
