I couldn't remember the JB FF double page splashes, but I could remember the Liefeld by way of Perez splash.

What Perez double-pager did he copy?

Also, his anatomy makes my body hurt.

I hadn't read the Titans run at that point in my life, only picked up on the Liefeld 'homages' because of the Comic Buyer's Guide articles. He used a lot of JB poses!

Issue 39 Brian.
He actually copied the page/sequence leading up to that
splash as well.

Perez did rare double duty by inking that issue and my god, when Perez inked himself...

Yeah, Perez inking himself ....
I thought he was a good artist, exceptional really.
But when that issue hit the stands, the art became
something else.

I still remember my jaw hitting the floor when I saw this double page splash by Neal Adams in Superman vs Muhammad Ali.
