Honestly, the whole drive to get Greenland and Canada is to gain access to minerals to bring our chip manufacturing back (because we ceded those areas of Africa to China as the main trading partner) - and those are needed to presumably allow us to be the leader in AI.

Trump may or may not make it to the end of his term, and he may or may not go for a third. The real fight is over the next two years to preserve the vote, which is the last tool we have to maybe unmake some of this. Make no mistake, the 2026 midterms are going to be the most contested and corrupt in the history of our country - and bear in mind that history contains the Reconstruction-era South.

You get what you get. I do not and will not have any sympathy for those that voted for 47 and those that kept their asses home.
