were certainly
down for longer than 24hrs for me.

Well, at least your back now and able to add substance and
positivity to the forum, again.

Glad to see the forum up again... this is one of the few places I enjoy interacting in... always good conversations to be had.

All thanks go to Jeff Fettes and his team.  I let them know the issue and they were on top of it.  Took a minute to figure out the root of the problem, but Jeff and his company are amazing.

It was gone again for a few minutes. I hope Jeff and his crew are not fighting off an attack or something.

Such things make me feel sad. Not for the annoyance, but from contemplation of the empty lives of those who do such things.

Sadly those with empty lives are on a yacht somewhere in the Baltic Sea, since the damage their efforts create are automated and simply deliver the proceeds of their attacks to their bank accounts.

I can confirm that no one hacked the site. Jeff can explain it more in detail if he’s not busy running his company, but suffice it to say that they found the issue and addressed it immediately after I brought it to his attention.  Nothing nefarious!

I switched my internet provider from Xfinity to AT&T * the day this started, and thought the site might be blocked by AT&T or something. Was getting either connection failure or 404 messages, but the past day or two my bookmark has been sending me to Simcast, a site I've never even visited before. And last night I made one post on this board and had the connection failure again while trying to make a second one in this thread.

* Dumped cable months ago and only do streaming, and have T-Mobile for the phones.

I don't think its fully stable yet. I had a `connection refused' come up earlier.
