There was an Avengers issue by JB (#184) that had various inkers there. Terry Austin was definetely one of them, but the rest are blurry to me. Dan Green may have contributed, given he became regular inker with the next issue. The inker credit was "D. Hands".Another great example was the second Superman/Spider-Man crossover, pencilled by John Buscema with figure inks by Joe Sinnott and a veritable who-is-who of background inkers!!

Jason, great info re that Mister Miracle inked by "Ilya Hunch"... I almost mentioned that issue as another good one-shot pairing but I had a "hunch" that name was a cypher for a mix of inkers but could never figure out who or how it was divi'ed up.
Mister Miracle in general was one great looking book in that short late 70s run... Besides those you mentioned, Marshall Rogers had several other inkers (Rick Bryant and John Fuller, neither of whom I've heard of but their issue is still good; and the much-maligned Vince Colletta, who also couldn't dim Rogers' clean line.) Hard to imagine having to follow Marshall Rogers' gorgeous work then but Michael Golden was up to the challenge, also successfully inked by two "old guard"; first Joe Giella and then Russ Heath. Mister Miracle 19-25 are all worth seeking out and were all in the dollar bin when I found them, anyway.

Here more MORBIUS pages from FEAR #23, an odd pairing of P. Craig Russell inked by Vince Colletta!
And here's one page from FEAR #25, by Frank Robbins inked by Frank Giacoia--a good match I would say, but I think it might be a one-off pairing.

I've been reading the original GHOST RIDER series and for a while there it seemed like there was a new penciler and/or inker on each issue. Don Heck did a few issues, inked by a different inker each time. I was especially surprised to see issue #23 inked by Don Newton! Not only did I not realize Newton did any work for Marvel at this time, I don't know if I ever saw him ink anyone but himself! Here are a few pages...

I happened to dig this one out today, and immediately thought of this thread:
A typically lovely but rather unassuming Gil Kane cover... which just happens to house interior artwork by Alex Toth and Terry Austin?! Say what now??
And yes, it's just as glorious as it sounds!

The topic of Terry Austin doing the pencils for the cover of UNCANNY 142 got me searching for "Terry Austin Pencils." Then I uncovered this piece, which I never knew existed until today: Terry Austin on pencils, with Mr. John Byrne on inks. Awesome.

Not exactly a one-shot--they did two issues together! Here's Steve Ditko inked by Sal Trapani on GET SMART #2!
