I'm pretty sure Claremont has unresolved subplots out there older than most of the forum members ;)

Not going to happen, I feel safe in predicting, but if this whole issue is carried by these three characters investigating the ruins of what has happened to our heroes -- I am feeling like I'm on board for that.
What a neat, unexpected way to carry on the story.

How often we hear people say that they wish they could have just one last conversation or visit one last time with someone that died. Here, we get to visit that elsewhen, with one of the few remaining minds that can tap into our heroes reality; who remembers them for who they really are.
Nothing but gratitude towards you, JB.

Thank you sir! I do hope you get back in the saddle, channel all this excitement from the fans if you have too to beat the doldrums; this is a nice surprise. I hope it is not the last, this has brought some great Xmen memories form the original run back when i was a teen. Either outcome, thank you, Mr. Byrne.

"Phenomenal rubble. I'd buy a Byrne Rubble Masters TPB"--------------------------------------- From a reader perspective JB is definitely a rubble master. From an inking perspective, that's gonna be a lot of work ;)

When I was starting out, I used to wonder if there was some element of my work for which I might become particularly "famous". Pretty girls? Sci fi tech? Monsters? As it turned out, big piles of broken stuff!!

I would rank your sci-fi tech a few notches higher than your broken stuff. Your monsters and pretty girls aren't too shabby either. It's really the everyday stuff however that sets you apart. Architecture, landscape, furniture, X-Men sitting around sipping tea, that's where the real magic is.
