Things were usually worked out in detail before work began.Except during the time of the "writer/editor" where some excesses--and lacks--were seen.

Looking at yesterday’s page again, I marvel at how easy you make it look to give metal surfaces a believable shine.
I’ve copied your technique a long time and always think: “How would John do it?”
I never thought to ask: What do YOU think about when you’re trying to get a good, believable shine on the metal in your drawings?

Mostly I go to Neal, tho Kirby and Wally Wood are definitely in there.

I just noticed the "Jean-Scott" royal crest! :)
I see the single-point perspective lines for the buildings, but how do the manage to bend the rampart around like that so perfectly?

Been bugging me as I was sure Magneto fought the FF before, so I checked at last - the FF did fight Magneto before in FF #102/103/104 (original run, Kirby's final issue plus the first 2 without him) with Magneto getting Submariner on his side to fight them.
I figured others might be having that little bug in the back of their mind saying 'I thought they did fight before'. Sorry if someone else caught it first and I missed it.

JB - I take it that this is one of those scenes where (paraphrasing here), "you hurt the one's you love"? ;-)
