The Sons of the Tiger are taken from the inside front cover of issue 17, which appears to be signed....but I can't make out the signature.

It's signed K & McLeod. According to GCD, "K" is Keith Giffen.

I wouldn't have guessed in a million years, but the central figure does have some stylistic similarities to his early LSH work.

It must have been interesting coming up with a specific kind of fighting references for Iron Fist. Did you have any affinity for martial arts or movies that featured them?  < id="protanopia"> < id="deuteranopia"> < id="tritanopia">

I bought an illustrated book, but mostly I made it up. Then Chris would look thru his own book(s) for names of fighting poses that approximated what I’d drawn.

That must have been a gas, you pulled it off. I recall as a kid comparing and contrasting PM and IF fighting styles and thinking you guys must be masters of the arts yourselves :) < id="protanopia"> < id="deuteranopia"> < id="tritanopia">
