Again, wow!
When I heard Alpha Flight was going to make an appearance in later issues, once I got past the "yay" phase, I was concerned that it would be awkwardly shoe-horned into a storyline.
Shame on me. Mac and Heather's appearance make's perfect sense, particularly given Xavier's willingness to reach out to other Marvel "teams" when the situation is appropriate.
And ... again ... thank you, sir!

GUARDIAN AND HEATHER! Savage breast - thank you for getting it right. Now for a little traveling music... GUARDIAN AND HEATHER! Looks as if Logan still calmed down for Heather anyhow. I think he knows his family. GUARDIAN AND HEATHER! Incidentally, your use of snow/negative space is a joy to observe. GUARDIAN AND HEATHER! Can't help but wonder if the rest of Alpha Flight will show up. Because to see Walter Langowski laughing as he travels as Sasquatch is a jewel... but of course, all of this is a pure gem.

Thankfully the wife and kids were already out of the house when I emitted that little-girl high-pitched squeal! Mac and Heather!!! HOORAY!!!
I hope they can help Logan, it'll be good to get him back on track.

I TOTALLY wasn’t expecting that. Wow.
Count me as one who thinks Guardian’s costume is my favorite by Byrne.

To allay disappointment, let me mention now that only ONE other member of Alpha will be appearing in this issue. And for those who MUST burrow, no, that doesn’t mean members of Beta or Gamma will be appearing. WYSIWYG.

Have I mentioned before how much I like and appreciate Heather's nose? It's really her unique feature, I can't think of anyone else in comics drawn like her. She's that striking, beautiful woman you'd see in the supermarket, not some Instagram model. Like a certain glasses-wearing redheaded wife I've been with for a couple decades.

I gave Heather that outward curve on her nose specifically to make her face different. I can’t recall a single other artist who picked up on it. Or anything else about her, for that matter!

Technical question:
In that last panel, would the letterer also ink the energy trails that exceed the panel border when they inked in the panel border? Since there’s so much overlapping.

The inker would ink the energy trails.
