Ah-ha, totally did not see that coming, brilliant. Guardian's costume is still one of my all time favourites. Nicely done JB.

Guardian's costume is still one of my all time favourites. •• Immodestly, mine too. And I have mentioned before the irony there, since I do not like the "current" design of the Canadian flag. It was introduced when I was about 14, and the "new" one was basically an exercise in graphic design, not something with a real history behind it.

Yea! Alpha Flight!
Good call on editing the last panel. With out any explanation of Guardian's suit's powers, having the flash right at the door could look like splats -- especially in black and white -- as they all slam into it and die. Every issue is someone's first, someone says.

Thanks for today's gift, JB! Even though we had been told there would be Alpha Flight involvement at some point, having Mac and Heather show up today was a surprise!

I'm always thinking about what I'd request if JB ever decided to offer commissions again, and that usually involves me bouncing back and forth between the Fantastic Four and JBNM. Now though... I think Alpha Flight may be worming itself into the mix. Aw, heck... I guess I'd have to get all three!

The whole series has really rekindled what made me love comics to begin with, but today's page just turned me into a 12 year old all over again.
