Wallace Sellars: Go, Cyclops!

****

Heck yeah!

I thought last Friday's Scott-vs.-Fandral panel was great, and then today JB gives us Scott vs. Fandral and friends. I love it.

It's been pointed out before, but it's worth repeating. Elsewhen has been a joy to read for many reasons, but right up near the top of those reasons is getting to see the real Cyclops again.

I read a quote this morning from literary scholar Peter Brooks: “The end writes the beginning and shapes the middle.”

Is that how you work, JB?

Yes, I most often start with a sense of where I want my story to end, and work backwards from there.

Wow! You don't often see Gladiator thrown aside so casually.

I like the character, but he's so powerful that it would be cool to see him taken down a peg by Thor.

He got taken down considerably more than a peg in my run on FANTASTIC FOUR!

Very true, but that hasn't happened yet in the Elsewhen-verse, so- go get 'em, Thor!

 QUOTE:
I am kind of hoping Thor humbles the heck out of Gladiator.

I am not making any guesses at all about what is going to happen, but am hoping for the opposite!

I was just looking at the “doing the inker’s job for him” style of pencils
here and wondered— is it a coincidence that trying your hand at this
level of embellishment again unlocked your inner X-Man again? In
other words, could anything else have provoked this, or could drawing
this way again have provoked any other project?
