Is there a precedent for Archangel's sword in the comics, or did that concept leap straight from the world of religion to Elsewhen? (If only our religions were based on this instead.)
I love the sword. And it only hit me today, that so many of the alternate X-Men have devices to enhance their powers... just like Magneto and his helmet. I love that. They're superior, but not ashamed to use some tricks to stack the deck.

Exactly! And like Evil Scott's helmet, it feels like the kind of thing that Magneto could either build or pilfer.

Yeah. I just love the look of Alt-Angel with the flaming sword. It loks so natural and yet never was done before (with Angel)...
