No doubt! But that's probably why many of us are here.
When I was in my early teens the LCS started having occasional signings. Personally, I never cared about getting autographs, so I rarely if ever brought anything in to get signed. The benefit of that was that I didn't have to stand in line. I'd find a good spot where I was out of the way but close by, hang out, and just listen to the stories.
Guys like Chris Claremont, Marv Wolfman, Keith Giffen, and Ron Wilson (to name a few) would talk about the creative process, how they got into the business, what was happening behind the scenes, etc.
These conversations were always a great time. I was fascinated by the process and the personalities behind the comics.
Above all, it was just fun for all of us to get together and bond over our common love of comics.
When this forum (and others like it) are at their best we get that. So I enjoy your comments in threads like this; especially when we learn something new.
