"Could of" bothers me. I sometimes find myself saying "very unique" still.
Here's two that bug me, in one phrase: My brother was electrocuted by a lightening strike, but he's just fine!

One of my pet peeves, there. “Electric execution”. It’s right there in the word!

A curious thing I’ve noticed, the predictive speller on my iPhone guesses “cannot” before “can’t”. How many people use “cannot” day to day?

It used to be 'actually' some people would use excessively and inappropriately (see '70s British play Abigail's Party). My latest bug is young people starting first sentences with 'So'.
There's also the term 'almost literally', don't know if that helps the problem with inappropriate use of literally though.

Yeah! But it's not just youngsters; it seems to be the first word in a response to a yes or no question (noticeable at the moment with experts being asked questions about the coronavirus).

James Woodcock: "'your' instead of 'you're'" ---------- "In speech, is there a difference here? Depending on accent, I would say not"
When I speak, I pronounce your as "yore." I pronounce you're as "yuir."
And you've all highlighted why I dislike kleptomaniacs. They always take things literally.

"So" has been bugging me for at least the last couple of years! How did everybody--young and old, conservative and liberal, professional commentator and amateur--all decide to start using that to start an answer?! Every time I hear that, I think the person is lying. ("You've asked me a yes or no question and I'm going to tell you a story I just made up instead.")

You've got to be quick to get your response in:
So...
No, but I knit! No, but my wife does! A button, but not much more. Ahh! You have an interest in Fashion? And reap the rewards!

Hmm, I may well start sentences with “So ...” I definitely have started sentences with ‘I mean ..’ which I really dislike but seem unable to stop.
