I too loved Wally Wood's work on ALL-STAR COMICS, whether it was inking/embellishing or doing the full artwork. *** GCD says the Wallace Wood Checklist credits A L.Sirois with providing uncredited assistance on layouts, pencils and background inks on All-Star Comics #64 & 65. Sirois is also said to have inked backgrounds for Dick Giordano, Frank McLaughlin and Bob Layton on series including the Champions - I wonder if he worked on any of the issues JB pencilled and Layton inked.

I very much like Wally Wood's work on DAREDEVIL. But I think he was best suited for stories outside the superhero genre. I can't remember which comic his Doctor Doom story appeared in, but Doom's mask looked awkward and not very frightening -- none of the "rage" that it has when drawn by Kirby, JB, Perez, others.

Wally Wood saved DAREDEVIL. We wouldn't have Frank Miller's or any other good version if not for those few issues where Wood fixed the book.
