Thanks to Koroush for the link he posted, which finally allowed me to view this. Fun little feature; would have happily watched for twice as long.

I had to vpn it. It still wasn't working for me.
Really cool video. Nice to see the room of awesome stuff in more detail. And, you know, to hear that John Byrne guy talk a bit about his love of comics.

Karoush's link worked this morning.
It's always nice to see the love "lifers" like JB have for the medium.

Great video! Thanks for sharing! We watched it on the big screen so my wife and daughter (just one of them) could see it too. Turned out my wife had already watched it on her phone.
Mine's a keeper too :-)

Nice video. One of the first comic memories I have is my mom buying me a superman comic(371) probably aged 7 or 8 from a shop in town. Moved me away from wizzer and chips and kick started a life long interest in super hero comics. There was something about that issue that gripped me. Your anecdote about your first batman put me in mid of that. Also those UK hardcover reprint annuals. I was getting the 1980s equivalent of them.
That Dick Sprang page is lovely!
Question for JB - you mention a time when your line was similar to Kubert. Would you be able to pin down when this would be?

Ah, well, now that is this has been sorted out, I’m sure a retraction will be forthcoming. That’s how the internet works, right?

I actually did post a response saying the comment was completely false. The original statement seems to be gone now!

There is something truly magical about that first comic that sucked you right into the mud.
Watching this video also made me see why JB cites Joe Kubert as a favourite -- those Hawkman pages look amazing. Now, if only I could persuade JB that he no longer needs those Superman vs Spider-Man pages...

BTW, the question was raised as to how I keep everything dust free. Well, I wish I had a more cosmic answer, but the reality is that I keep a feather duster in the Studio, and when chatting on the phone I wander around flicking here and there. And, of course, I have a Roomba for the floor!

JB, do you catalog your collection in any way just to be able to keep up with what you have especially with books and such? My own collection pales in comparison, but I know from personal experience what it's like to be on the verge of clicking to purchase on Amazon and then look over at the book shelf to see the book staring back at you already.
