That's really well done in that it makes me want to go get and reread those Fantastic Four and Superman comics, and I'm embarrassed to admit, get those She-Hulks I never did see. Oh, and Omac (having only had the first of the old Kirby '70s issues, and was that ever a strange comic, 'build-a-friend' was so sad and creeeepy).

Of course we think with all that cool stuff around we'd be distracted, because it's not our stuff it'd be mostly all new to us... just those Captain America shields, but if people saw a lot of my accumulated stuff they might feel the same.

Great fun watching that interview. Glad to hear there's going to be a part 2.

I like the way Mike Avila runs the interviews.

JB, I love your enthusiasm in that video where you point out all the characters you created that are now a part of Marvel and DC's universes. I love that there is still that fan inside of you. That's also a big reason why, even though I am a casual Star Trek fan at best, I got a kick out of your work on "New Visions." There's just something extra cool added to my enjoyment of your work when I know it's exciting to you, as well.

I’m ever and always surprised when some fans complain that I “obviously don’t care” about the work. I have no idea what they’re looking at!!

I had stopped to pause the video for a bit as I was checking on something else, and this is the spot where I hit the pause button. LOL!

JB, it looks as if you were worried that clapper was going to bite you. Heh.

My whole life is a performance, Matt. Surprising how many people don’t realize that.

Two instances where Jack Kirby's FF is used as if the work is mine. Hard to be insulted by that!!

And of course....

Someone comments that there aren't many interviews with me, and someone else responds that this "might be because he's known to be a bit prickly."

Sure. It's not because I've spent a few decades DECLINING interviews.

Occam's Razor, guys! The simplest solution is usually the correct one.
