Nice inks, Darren! I really like your line weights on the figure here! And the duo shade looks like it comes from the Namor/Omac/She-Hulk era of JB's work!
As for my own output- well, JB posted the first issue, like, 9 months ago, and some of the original pages of this exercise even earlier than that. So, I've been working on this issue for a while.
When I can commit the time to it (paying stuff comes first), I'm having a ball and learning a lot!

Wow- great pages, Eric!
Damn- I was thinking of stopping where I was and trying these three pages (and the next one), but since you beat me to it, maybe I'll just keep going with issue 1. ;)

Nice work, Eric! I can see steady improvement with your inking. Very nice contrasting which makes the characters stand out. Good job!

Thanks everyone for the kudos. I've been doing pages from lots of different pencilers and I think that helps.

Nice job, especially on all that debris, Mark.

I recently purchased an Inspiroy pen tablet for a project I'm working on and thought I'd give it a go for an Elsewhen page. This is my first time using a pad to ink. I kind of like it but there are a couple of things I couldn't figure out – I couldn't get a finer line for some of the details and I couldn't create a smooth curve. On some of the curves, I literally put a French Curve on the pad itself (varying results) for the most part, I just did them freehand. A side note – John Byrne mentioned recently about the 'Kirby Krackle' not to look at the round balls but look at the negative space around it. That opened my eyes to the effect!
