The Hulk and Two-Face MUST have been fractured identities prior to the events which we were previously told made them. After all, dissociative disorders don't work that way (if they work at all.)
=======================================================
I think Two-Face is a stronger character when he is 100% on the side of the law until the face-scarring incident destroys his face and chance for a normal life.
If Batman: TAS made one misstep it was the "Big Bad Harv" element they introduced, which had been previously done in 1990's Batman Annual # 14.

As I have said, introducing these "Fated to...." backstories add big clunking chunks of coincidence where they did not exist before. And coincidence is a card that should be played rarely, and carefully.(One of the many things I did not like about THE INCREDIBLES was the reckless abandon with which the plot used coincidences. Pay attention to the opening sequence, and see how many you can count.)

The issue of IMMORTAL HULK that came out yesterday (#4) features Walter Langkowski, coming to help reporter Jackie McGee search for and maybe interview Bruce Banner.
Disappointed. Sasquatch's origin is radically altered in order to achieve a desired effect =just for this one story=. Presumably. If it stands, it changes a lot about the character, in order to serve the Hulk.
I'm going to have to drop this book.

Is the IMMORTAL adjective to be taken literally, Mr Bitner?

Sadly, yes sir. The notion is that *Banner* can be killed... but the *Hulk* will always wake up at sunset, and Banner will be more-or-less the way he was pre-killing. So the Hulk is now immortal. Or so he believes. This permutation will probably last as long as the "Indestructible" or adjectiveless Hulk title change (that is, as long as Al Ewing is writing it).
I don't think it's worth bringing up how this issue butchers Walt's story.

We're all immortal, right up to the moment we die. And that's really the only way to play immortality in any kind of workable way. Establish that a character can "come back to life" and, well, who cares?

Considering he's been killed or gravely wounded in three out of four issues so far, this gag will probably get worn out real quick.

All I want in life - all I ever wanted - was a Hulk/Lizard fight. I'd sell all my possessions for that!

One of the more definitive images of the Hulk that I like. Artist is Bob Larkin:

That's from after artists started "softening" the Hulk's face. I still prefer the earliest Kirby. *(It should be noted that Kirby also "lost" the Hulk's face, over time.)

Oh yes, I'd need to figure out what I wanted for page 2!
