I would love a copy.

Unfortunately, I don't have a dvd burner, so I can't participate in the nice
little system we are setting up here, but I would be happy to purchase a
blank dvd-r or two and send it to anyone willing to make me a copy.

whats the fairest way to start distributing this, who gets the first copy?

Gerry

Please put me on the list -- I don't have a DVD burner, so I can't help distribute copies, but I will offer to swap some Justice League / JLU / BTAS / STAS episodes on VCD for a copy.  Any takers?

Don't you think we could cut JB some slack? After all, it's HIS board!

Ok perhaps Ben, it's just that I know how much the Chief hates duplicate thread discussions and the other thread in question was (and still is) very much current. If I was a mod I would probably have locked this thread down! Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind ; - )

Seriously Ben, I thought it slightly amusing that JB was suddenly asking us about this hot news when it had been discussed under his nose (on his own site) for the last day or two. My abrupt "strict moderator" reply was meant partially as a joke* while at the same time pointing JB to the information he was asking about. (Which actually was pretty easy to spot in that thread as there was even an image of the Superman II Directors Cut posted in it.)

* Of course whether JB or anyone else saw the funny side of this is another matter. If not you will have to forgive my sense of humour.

Can I be added to the list. I also have a DVD burner so I can forward a copy to someone with ease.

Ok, let's see...

"...The Superman II Restored International Cut was a non-profit project and thus, it is not available for sale. However, the creators behind this project want to ensure that Superman fans everywhere get a chance to see this DVD. Towards that end, free copies are being made and distributed. And fans are being encouraged to make more copies to share with others."

To that effect, Gerry Turnbull kindly offered to make a copy of the DVD and distribute it in order of first come first serve.

So, here's the list of people that requested (and offered to distribute) a copy of The Superman II Restored International Cut (Please keep in mind that not eveyone that requested a copy has a DVD burner):

After Gerry Turnbull makes a copy, the list is as follows:

1. Brian Miller

2. Glenn Greenburg

3. Matt Hawes (Glenn, if you're making my copy, send to my address in my signature below. Thanks!)

4. Jeff Stockwell

5. Gregg Allison

6. Richard Stevens

7. Steve Lyons

8. Jason Carpenter

9. Brandon Carter

10. Mark McConnell

11. Paul Go

12. Greg Nyman

13. Chris Hutton

14. Robin Taylor (Robin offered to make DVD's for people who don't have a DVD burner, as I recall.)

15. Steve Horton

16. David La Spina

17. John Bodin

18. Hugh Cherry

19. Paul Nyman

That's the list I have so far. I scoured the thread to see who asked outright, or expressed an interest. I don't think I skipped anybody so far.

I am assuming that each person after the last will make a copy (or have one made somehow) and distribute to the next in line. In other words: Brian Miller would make a copy and send it to Glenn Greenburg, who would make a copy and send it to me, and I would send a copy to Jeff Stockwell, and so on...

JB expressed interest in the Restored Internation Cut. JB, if you want one, let us know.

I have a DVD burner but a not a lot of free time since im doing my military service. Im willing to make copies to people when I get the time. So if there's any chance of getting a copy, I would really appreciate it.
