Because my madness knows no bounds, I decided to do a quick and dirty model of the Gray house, for scale and proportions.

Here's were I've got to so far. . .

Just a few details to add, for my purpose.

This is rendered using the Ps Find Edges function.

I saw a comic artist on youtube who was doing breakdowns
and pencils in photoshop, then he would shift it blue
and print it out on bristol board to do his inking. Must
be a nice printer.

I've got all the pages done up in 300 dpi blue line. I've even kept up with updating the pages that JB has changed.

I added the word balloons for the pages that had dialog just to get a feel for inking around them.

The blue line on that Kitty page makes it look more lively somehow.

I love Photoshop!

Over the years, nay, decades that I have been using this program, I have discovered all kinds of ways to make the art look better after it's been scanned. Today, I realized there was something I could do with these pencils.

As I got deeper in the "project", my drawings got tighter and tighter -- getting better seated back in the ol' saddle. This meant the jungle backgrounds became better defined. Making some of the earlier pages look kinda sloppy, at least to my eyes. But this morning it occurred to me that, since I'd spent half an hour or so scanning all the pages at high res yesterday, I could "clone" parts of my foliage from one page to another. Sometimes even flipping the original.

Quite an improvement! And imagining these pages being inked, I doubt that anyone will even notice.

SCIENCE! Gotta love it!!

I don't know what version you have, but at some point
they added symmetry tools that are a lot of fun. The
only problem is, I had no idea they were there because
they are off by default and have to be turned on in the
settings somewhere.

I'll have to look for that symmetry app. Might be handy.

In mine it is

Preferences - technology previews - Enable Paint
Symmetry

Being a 'preview' maybe means it is still under testing
