As I'm approaching page 20, here, I find myself wondering if I should be a real stinker, and end there -- on a cliffhanger!!

*******

Do you want to give us a heart attack??? You can't let us on a cliffhanger not knowning if there will be a continuation!

What this thread show us is that you can still do a monthly issue (you're doing 1 daily page) when for so many actual artists it seems imposible!

JB you wouldn't want to hear the endless speculation as to how you would have ended the issue. It would drive you crazy... so, completely unselfishly, I ask you, for the sake of your sanity, please finish the issue : )

It is so incredible to see these pages in pencil form.  I think the only pencil art from JB’s original run that didn’t get inked were those pages from #138 that were abandoned  - the splash of Scott and Jean at the lake edge eventually got inked, but I believe the next page only exists in pencil.

There is a depth to the pencils that is great to see - a richness that the inks can’t capture.

This is the best edition of “Behind the Inks” we’ve seen since the pencil pages from JLA “The Tenth Cicle” were posted here on the Forum, and we got a glimpse of what JB intended.

I think that you should come up with a cliffhanger ending so jaw dropping that it will melt everyone's brain.

This has been the best internet reading for the last several days for me - very enjoyable thread!

I have to wonder if the muties will run into any gamma irradiated behemoths whilst traipsing around in the jungle.

...muties...

•••

You do realize that, contextually, that's like calling them the "n-word".

I'm all for a cliffhanger ending!

Not even sure it's possible to wrap this story up in one issue... there's soo many fun threads!
