CAPTAIN AMERICA (with Roger Stern if possible)

There's some unfinished business over there, with stories from Captain America's War Journal (intro'd Cap 247) from time to time, guest starring the INVADERS, of course.

•••

But I'm not that John Byrne anymore, and Roger's not that Roger Stern.

The most recent work I've seen from you was the STOWAWAY
book, which, owing to its genre/niche, had a Moebius-ly
look.
I would love to see you do the SURFER, or something SO
far above the MARVEL landscape, like ETERNALS.
(Or BELOW the landscape, a la ANT-MAN)

Marvel Team-Up, but not tied to Spider-Man or current continuity allowing you to use whatever characters, or teams for that matter, you wanted.

JB, remembering that CGI Martian War Machine you shared with us years ago...

Instead of doing something in the current Marvel universe (with all the headaches that comes with it), how about working on a What If? world where everything has gone "steampunk"?

For example:

Steam Speed

Granted, it shouldn't be as "GREAT RACE" cartoony, but it would be fun seeing Reed Richards and Dr. Doom having a invention rivalry like that...

The "Fantastic Four-Ever" would be my preference (esp. with a Special completing the Last Galactus Story).

Failing that, I think Invaders (in WW2) would be best. Get your own sandbox, don't have to get into what's been going on at Marvel the last few decades, etc.

(Sorry - typos.)

Anything She-Hulk would be nice.

I'd love to see your take on the current Ms. Marvel, because you've written teenagers so well in the past, and she's a great character.

Hmmm... She-Hulk/Ms. Marvel. Four issue mini series. It would be fun!

I'm sure an X-Men title would be a marketing bonanza for Marvel.

But for me, either, like the other thread and many posters here The Invaders, or since I like your alien designs so much, maybe a Quasar run.

1.) Invaders (set in WW II as you said)
2.) Doctor Strange
3.) Lost Generation
4.) Hidden Years
5.) Fantastic Four
6.) Eternals

My choice would be a book focused on villains. Each issue a story told from the perspective of Dr. Doom, Magneto, Red Skull and maybe also some smaller guys like Whirlwind, Batroc, Living Laser, etc.

No idea how those characters fit nowadays, but that's something I'd love to read. Good villain driven tales without extreme psychological detail and exagerated darkness in them.

Honestly? I'd love to see you on a John Byrne Presents title. Tell the stories you want, how you want, with the characters you want. I'd put that up against anything Marvel is putting out any day of the week.

I don't think my name in the title would be much of a draw! (No pun!)

I agree. The generations (no pun intended!) have eclipsed
most of the star power/stigmas that the 90's fanboys
created.

I'll amend my SURFER suggestion, adding that you should
ask Neil Degrasse Tyson and Bill Nye alternatively to co-
plot. I think they'd love to do it, and it would bring in
a whole other market.
