Question for anyone,
Which Power Record did JB contribute some voice acting?
I seem to remember it was a Captain America album... but I could be wrong.
Thanks

I think I found it on Youtube...
I think it's the audio recording of Captain America #255.

I’m thinking you’re correct that it was a Captain America one and JB was the voice of FDR (?).

My favorite retold origin story ...ever!
BTW I was the first person to hit the like button on the YouTube audio published 4/27/18. I don't usually hit the like/dislike buttons, but couldn't resist being the first on this one.

Just for the sake of being factual, that was a late 80s' or early 90s' recording and not part of the Power Records/Peter Pan line.
Edited to add: I'm pretty sure it was only released on cassette, too, as LPs were in decline during that period.

The tale and tape from MPL. Just a couple years ago I bought a copy of the Cap reprint comic, having never even known that it existed. Printed a bit smaller than the actual comic it has thicker paper and better printing than the original.
DC also worked with MPL and did Legend of the Batman 3-parter (with JB on part one) and the 6-part Man Of Steel mini. I'm happy to have those reprints and As a matter of fact, and co-incidence, YESTERDAY I bought the tape of MoS part 3 (co-starring Batman) at a local toy show.

Interesting! Thanks for the info!
To my ear, the narrator appears to be JB on the Cap #255 recording... but it's hard to tell given the sound quality ...and I didn't want to blast the sound at work :)
At some point, I'll have to see if I can find the Batman 3-parter online...

I remember explaining to the others there that the dialog should be played straight. There was some Wicked Witch of the West creeping in here and there.

Lars, it should be clarified that the MPL "Legend of The Batman" which reprinted the 1980 mini-series with an audio cassette, featured JB's art on part one, but I don't think he contributed anything to the audio,

I remember listening to the book and tape version of "Amazing Spider-Man" #319 (I think that was the issue), with Todd McFarlane art, released roughly during the same period as the Captain America book and tape. The voice actors really hammed it up. I recall thinking that while this wasn't classic literature, it should have been treated more respectfully. Even "Hamlet" would sound stupid read with clownish voices.
