Question for JB: anything else you can share on the Batman cover?
On another subject, did Marvel just realize that JB inked Champions 17? Just odd that 11-15 are in vol 1 and 17 will be in vol 2.

I had never heard that story about the cover, JB - probably because I have never even read that issue!
These recent omnibi have been a fantastic way to revisit previous work and also discover material I had missed. I have already “spoiled” this one a bit - I saw that it lists the She Hulk graphic novel, which led me to pick it up off the shelf and just check out a few pages. Of course, I then read the whole damn thing! It’s such an amazing book.

I've been tracking down JB's Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Two-In-One issues that I was missing. It's been a lot of fun hunting for them all. I was able to get finish off the Two-In-One issues yesterday (at least the ones with Byrne interior art, if not all the ones he wrote or did the covers for). It's great to finally have the whole initial Project Pegasus run (which the last two issues are done by Perez who is no slouch in the art department either). I also managed to find issue 43 and 50 at the same shop as well. All of that said, I really want this omnibus and will probably pick it up with some Xmas funds.
Also speaking of Marvel: The Lost Generation and its numbering, I was watching a Youtube video of a guy and a girl who have a channel called Comichaulics and he was talking about getting issue 1 of that title and it being a first appearance of a lot of characters, and I informed him in the comments that he'd actually picked up the last issue of that run, that issue 12 was their first appearances, so he went back and got issue 12. He also said he liked it so much he was going to track down all the other issues. Glad to see that run is collected here.

Got my copy in the mail and it looks fantastic! Great collection that features my chance to read JB’s STAR BRAND. And this marks the first trade appearance of the wonderful MARVEL: THE LOST GENERATION.

Lost Gen is really underrated. A retro series with those characters in the 50's would be a blast.

Steve — you conjure memories of my childhood, when Xmas would bring those hardcover Superman and Batman “Annuals” from my relatives in England.

It’s so weird reading IRON FIST in color! I’ve only read these in black & white in the ESSENTIAL edition, so at first it looked like a blazing Technicolor production, as if I was seeing IRON FIST: THE MUSICAL - with Danny about to burst into song!

This book is addictive! I am glad I stuck with Iron Fist - I was about to skip it when I adjusted to the color. I think the color really works on this series.
Excellent collection - highly recommended!

A bit late to the omnibus party, but just got these 2 volumes, and I can't believe it! So excited, been wanting to read these stories for years. Can't wait for volume 3 - hope there'll be one. Also just got the Namor, Generations and Doom Patrol omnibuses. In the meantime, I have to get that snazzy Fourth World one! Oh joy! Happiness! :-D Feeling like I did in my childhood when discovering JBs run on FF and Superman for the first time...!!
