The decompression was annoying but I thought it was okay. That said, I don't currently own any Ultimate Spider-Man, though I have every issue of Alias and Jessica Jones. I think he worked better for Spider-Man,for me, than some of the other Marvel heroes because Peter was always funny and talked a lot during fights.

Like I said, I absolutely hate the idea of SUPERMAN starting over with #1 yet again. I mean, why?

And Bendis strikes me as exactly the wrong type of writer to be writing Superman stories. He was at his best (a long, long time ago) writing characters like Daredevil. Superman is as far from street-level-violent-crime-fighting characters like Daredevil as it gets.

If DC could just please change its collective mind about going back to #1 yet again I might still give this a chance...

This is great news for Marvel! New number 1. DC is more like marvel every day.

I hope that writing 80 pages of story a month will help Bendis.

The Adventures of Clark Kent is the Perfect book. Bendis is Adopted Clark is adpoted. I'm sure much hay will be made on this issue. Just like in Iron Man since Tony Stark is adpoted, too.

On a selfish level, it makes looking for issues via eBay or comiXology really annoying.

What if I wanted WOLVERINE #1 from 1988? Try putting WOLVERINE #1 in the search box of eBay. How many will come up?
