Is there a thread here on the JBF that lists/shows published "After Byrne" art? If not, would it be okay to start one? Based on this recent sighting, there's probably a lot out there that I've missed over the years.

There are numerous homages to and parodies of the cover to X-Men #141 which launched "Days of Future Past" and created the DOFP sub-genre within Marvel. Those could easily carry this thread for a few pages.
And discussion is likely to occur as to the similarities in design and concept between X-Men #136 and Crisis #7, which I remember Perez saying was inspired more by Kirby's cover to Thor #127 and the "Robin Dies at Dawn" story from Batman #156.

You're welcome, Wallace. It's fun trying to track these down. I had no idea this cover had been done this much.

I enjoy seeing yet another way that JB's work has impacted other comic book creators, even though their work is not always appealing to my eyes.

Hmmm… "comicbook" was turned into "comic book" this time.

They do emphasize how much better JB is than all these artists paying homage, don't they, Eric? I'm having a hard time figuring out who the Alpha Flight members are on those last two Alpha Flight covers. It's also odd how two other Alpha Flight series made what John Byrne did in the first volume of Alpha Flight #12 an ongoing tradition. Issue 12, time to kill a member. "...and one shall surely die!"
I know there have to be more homage covers than these, but most of the other ones I've located so far are all doing Uncanny X-Men #141. And there are a LOT of them.
