How about this one for #2?
The font is right but I can't confirm a year or even a publisher.

Nice job on both the detective and spirit man... I knew it was spirit man but I still couldn't find it.

Here's the detective mag in the lower LH corner

Doug, that "Spiritman" was driving me crazy! I was sure that was the title, yet I couldn't find it on the sites I checked, even with Google image search. Cool!

Rick, another great find!

The below Dime Western Magazine is duplicated in the row behind the original.

And the Famous Western Magazine has duplicates behind it, as well.

On the next shelf up from Ranch Romances and two to the left.

And the magazine directly to the right of this one is definitely Love Book Magazine either July or August 1945; I just don't have images for those two months but the font is a match.

I was able to identify the title of a few joke magazines, and one of the romance mags, but unfortunately couldn't locate the covers online.

I am still trying to figure out the last of the comic covers, too. Having only a fragment to work from is probably a near impossible task, but I figure we've  come this far...

These are great!  Most (almost all) are books I’ve never seen before. Some titles I hadn’t even heard of.

YAYY!!! I found another cover (it's #13 on the fragment chart I made from the previous page of the thread):
