Shazam? Odd to have a wizard in the muscle category.

Captain America - Perfect leadership qualities
Superman - Definitely won't let you down with the muscle
Wolverine - I'd want him as my enforcer
Iron Man - Is there a better technician?
Spider-Man - Is there a better wild card?

Robbie - you are WAY over budget! You can only spend a maximum of $15 and pick one from each category to fill out the team.
With Cap, Superman and Wolverine each at $5 you have reached your salary cap!
You are perfect to run the Yankees, though!

Captain America - best leader ever.
Captain Marvel (who many people call Shazam...because DC is dumb) - only 1 dollar for that level of power? Works out great for staying within my budget.
Hawkgirl - I'm going to assume this is the Justice League animated version since she's in the enforcer category. Again, a good bargain.
Mister Fantastic- I really would prefer Iron Man...but Reed is the smartest guy on the list, brings a lot to the team...and is a steal at the price.
Flash - I don't see Barry Allen as a wild card...but he's the Flash I'm taking, His speed (and other positives) add so much to this team.

$3 -> Professor X is the most powerful telepath on the planet, can keep the members connected at all times, and has experience leading teams of heroes with a variety of abilities from a different backgrounds.
$5 -> This one's easy. Superman can beat every other hero listed on the chart, and since no particular era of Superman has been specified, I'm picking the one who can move planets and travel through time under his own power.
$2 -> JLAnimated Hawkgirl gives me flight, strength, durability and that powerful Nth metal mace!
$2 -> The Black Panther is king of the most technologically advanced nation on the planet, and comes $3 cheaper than Iron Man. What a bargain!
$3 -> Green Lantern possesses the most powerful weapon in the universe, and is $2 cheaper than your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler.

Laren, I promise I didn't see your list before posting…

LOL Wallace...you know I was assuming that Shazam on the list was the mis-naming of Captain Marvel. But maybe it really was meant to be the old wizard.
Also the game is a bit uncertain as each character has gone thru numerous different versions. We both assumed it was the Hawkgirl from the cartoon...I picked the Barry Allen Flash...you picked the most powerful version of Superman while I was thinking of him as the JB version...so that Wonder Woman, Hulk, Thor or Captain Marvel would have been a great substitute.
Also you never said which Green Lantern you picked. Was it the one who is a living planet? :)
Edited because I remembered that Bruce Wayne became Green Lantern in an Elseworlds...so there's a cheap way to have a cosmically powered Batman on the team.
