Sure, Brody has the beak, but his voice warbles like a teenager's. It's hard for me to imagine a character once voiced by Orson Welles sounding like him. Maybe if they hired Hugo Weaving to dub the part.

I think the Superman costumes were all pretty faithful until "Man of Steel." There are others, but I wonder how many remember this one, found at the link below (Sorry, I'm not versed in lifting images from other sources.):

Ahhh The Electric Company. For some reason I can not recall, I liked that show much more than Sesame Street. 

Must have been Morgan Freeman's doing.
