A memory bubbled up from the murk of my mind. My mother took a picture of me in front of the shelves holding my models in my room, circa 1966/7. Fifty years! Argh!!

Any recollection of what that silver car is peeking out from behind your left arm (on the second shelf from the bottom)?  The nose looks a bit like it could be a Porsche 356 Speedster or maybe a Studebaker Avanti, but it's too grainy and there's not enough of the rest of the car to tell, so I can't really tell what it is.  Caught my eye, though, and now I want to know what it is!

That's the Aston Martin from GOLDFINGER -- coincidentally to this thread the only Aurora car kit I bought.

Cool pic JB. Looks like quite a
collection of models. Wish I could make
some of them out better

JB - have you kept any of those models
over the years? How long has it been
since you built a plastic model?

When I moved into my first apartment my Dad "transplanted" the models to a wall in his workroom in the basement. They remained there for a few years, until my parents moved, and then everything got tossed. Didn't seem any other practical solution, since I'd moved to London, Ontario by then.
