JB: "You guys are makin' me NUTZ with all these references to issue numbers!"

Oh, sure, blame it on THAT.

Addressing the topic... notwithstanding stories with characters who couldn't be in an FF movie due to rights, etc., I think that most any of Mr. Byrne's movies would make excellent movies (provided the movies actually cleave to the original stories.)

I considered the first of the run, with the FF facing Diablo's elementals. Sure, a little more Diablo might be required... but that would be a HONEY!

Our list would be shorter if we picked Mr. Byrne's FF stories that WOULDN'T make good movies.

"Mission for a Dead Man" would be a pretty perfect Human Torch solo movie.

...or "Hero".

"Terror in a Tiny Town" always struck me as excellent movie material.  It even has a retelling of the FF's origin.  Love to see a faithful movie adaptation of it.

IMO, JB is the only person to get Doom right - both his look and his character.

Sorry to seem nit-picky, but regarding that FF #258 cover.... WHAT did Doom "ruin"exactly?? Looks like a blank yellow FF cover with the trade dressing only. Seems he just finds the name of the book unacceptable!! :)

Enjoyed that storyline nonetheless. Great follow-up to "Terror in a Tiny Town".

-C!

258 - 260 are my favorite FF story, despite no Mr. Fantastic (My favorite member). Would make a great skeleton plot for a movie if reworked to include him.

I'm another one in the "Everyone vs Galactus" camp.  Loved those issues.

Was it someone on here who proposed an FF movie that was set in original timeline of the comics (aka 1960s) and in the opening sequence they get sucked into the negative zone only to emerge in the present day?  I think Annihilus was the proposed villian, with Doom showing up at the end.

276-277 are "Suffer a Witch to Live" / "Back from Beyond"

Annual 17, maybe? The Skrull Milk story. I would love to see the Skrulls in a FF movie.
