If they ever do another FF movie I hope they ask John Byrne to write the script...only way to ensure it will not be the usual flop!Of course Terror in a Tiny Town would be perfect, but FF #251-256 exploring the Negative Zone would make for a nice epic film.

I'd love to see JB given the offer to write it, if he were willing. He would knock it out of the park.

I like #220-221 as an introductory story.
There's a short origin flashback (which is all you need). All the members have solos using their powers, and they battle aliens together .
Bonus; Vindicator makes a cameo which could lead to " you know what"!

Anything with Doom will rule all… Heck I'd take any Fantastic Four story or story arc by JB to be brought to the big screen.

Here's the cover to FF#220, JB....

Right before you took the title "back to basics" I believe. ( think this was 11 issues before.)

Ah, the Coca-Cola issues! Done in a rush as a favor to Jim Salicrup, and originally meant to be a single cross-promotional issue. The people at Coke ultimately rejected the story as "too violent" and Jim asked me to add some pages to turn it into two issues.

An inauspicious debut as writer on the FF!

Framed and displayed in my comic room. The tie in poster to the Coca-Cola story.

Edit: Sorry, I tried to post the pic from Photo Bucket and the jpg was too large to upload. My bad.

#267, which I cited as a possible TV episode, was "A Small Loss." For viewers unfamiliar with the FF's history, Sue losing the baby would be powerful viewing...and it would spin nicely into the Hate-Monger/Psycho Man story where Sue briefly becomes Malice.

#249 is "Man and Super-Man."

"Wendy's Friends" might be more like a really good X-Files episode than a movie, but I think it could offer some great opportunities for cinematic visuals.

"Mission for a Dead Man" would be a pretty perfect Human Torch solo movie.
