My friend and I were trying to guess who drew the 1974 "Evel Knievel" promo comic interiors. The cover was by John Romita and Joe Sinnott, but they did not apparently do the interior art (other than some faces that look like Romita might have fixed). I looked at some sites online, but can't find any credits. I think it might be Don Perlin, or Jim Mooney, or maybe Bob Brown, with possibly Vince Colletta inks (though I only see a few things to make me consider that possibility).
What do you learned members of the board think?

This reminds me of early 1970s DC artists, such as Dick Dillin, Irv Novick, or maybe Bob Brown.

My first thought was Don Perlin, but without knowing the inker, it's hard to be sure.

I would bet a little money the inks are by Mike Esposito.
The pencils are hard for me to get a sense of with any conviction. I feel like
Ron Wilson or Herb Trimpe might be good guesses.
The layouts/pencils don't have his usual attention to architecture, but
considering the vintage, I could also believe they were by Ross Andru.
edit:
After I hit "post" I got the strange idea those might be John Romita pencils,
based on some of the figures and layouts. Considering the account and
vintage, that might make sense too. Romita and Mickey Demeo - together
again?
second edit: Nah. Can't be Romita.

I agree with Lars... it's Win Mortimer pencils. I recognize several Mortimer "stock poses" in there. And the inks seem pretty clearly to be Mike Esposito.

Don Perlin was my first guess. My friend thought Herb Trimpe, but it's not really Trimpe's style.
As for DC artists, it's unlikely except for any that was working at Marvel also during that period, as the comic is a Marvel publication.
