Wonder Woman and Namor would have been one I would have liked to see.

How about Gaiman's Death and (even tho I have no love for the character) Thanos?

Since the board doesn't have an emoji function, I'm just going to type it out:  smiley face, smiley face, shocked face, thumbs up, thumbs up, fireworks.

Do that thing.

Have to admit I exclaimed "Holy F***!" when I saw JB's Dr. Strange post. I didn't see it coming but realized how perfect that would be. It's amusing to me because I hardly swear.

I would love to see Batman and Thor. If anyone can stand shoulder to shoulder with the gods as an (albeit mortal) equal it's Batman.

2nd tier heroes: The Creeper and  Mr. Fantastic.  How long before Reed figures out that Jack Ryder is only pretending to be spooky/creepy?

You know, JB, there are plenty of old Marvel and DC comics out there just waiting for you to give them the Star Trek treatment ;)

That JB suggestion of Gaiman's Death and Thanos is inspired. Maybe not "Galactus tries to eat Apokolips" inspired, but damn close.

Confound you, Mr. Bryne! Now I'm going to be thinking of the Demon and Dr. Strange all... day... long... Quick, someone sing me "It's a Small World". :)

I know it's kinda same-and-same, but I think there are enough differences that a team up of Impulse and JBNM's Danny has a lot of potential.

And for my odd combo... I would love to see Mr. Byrne's take on Alfred and Jarvis. I know that mysteries are not his strong suit, but I'd love to see his story bringing these two together.

Sasquatch and Robotman
Aurora and Harley Quinn (a heroine with psychological issues and a crazy psychiatrist/supervillain? yes!)
Super-Skrull vs Amazo (the one "same-same" I had to offer)
Human Torch and Martian Manhunter
