It's really shocking that there's no X-Men comic that has a team that resembles core team that's been around since Giant-Sized X-Men #1 (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, etc). There really hasn't been a team resembling that for almost 5 years now. I don't know how they justify it.

Yes, the fans demanded nineteen Spider-Man books a month and fourteen Wolverine appearances a month and six Avengers titles, and no X-Men books, and no Fantastic Four (no more four?)

Maybe not those exact numbers... but I think you get my point. I don't think Marvel is truly in touch with their market, nor have they been for a long time.
