Having not read many Marvel comics lately, from that split picture, I do not recognize:
The blue guy floating above Gwenpool (only recognize her through seeing covers) or the woman with the blue shirt with white star next to him, the (I assume) kid between Squirrel Girl and the new Iron Man, or the leaping mostly purple guy with guns (please tell me that's not Paladin....). And I assume some of the other characters are Slapstick (WTH?!), Solo (obscure!), Colleen Wing, either the real Thor or a new Thunderstrike, and the Prowler.

There is a 1995 level of pouches and straps on the outfits in those pictures.

It does sound as though the idea of the GLA has indeed been forgotten. And I'm also reasonably sure this is a book with a short lifespan. JB's GLA was a durable premise; I doubt this will wear as well.

Bill- After he lost the Secret Wars, Doom was healed and returned to Earth; Reed, Sue and their family stayed "elsewhere" but Doom has since shown up in Iron Man as Tony Stark's frenemy (sort of).
The girl is Riri Williams--a new addition to the Iron Man story as well, with speculation running that she'll replace Rhodey as War Machine (he was killed by Thanos in CIVIL WAR II). UPDATE: Word now is that she'll be replacing Tony Stark as Iron 'Man.'
She-Hulk is in a coma so the green lady is either Gamora or the Savage She-Hulk Lyra (daughter of Bruce Banner--don't ask). I'm guessing Gamora, mostly because Lyra has improbably red hair.
And yup, that's apparently Slapstick.
Cable (and maybe Squirrel Girl) are representing the mutant contingent here, nobody from the FF is present, we're seeing Deadpool Family members/associates in abundance... so yeah, this is Marvel NOW!
Oh boy.

I don't get it. Millions of people now are familiar with Thor, Captain America, Dr. Doom, Spider-man, etc.But if they try reading some Marvel comic books they'll feel really confused and probably won't be back.

Lyra is the genetically engineered daughter of Thundra using DNA stolen from the Hulk.

I'm just...I have no words.
I suppose somebody must be enjoying this and if so, more power to them.

Even though this seems messed up, i have to admit that I wish I could draw that well. That's my "say something nice" for the day.

Most of the characters in that art posted I can't even tell who they are. And some of the ones which I can, like the Hulk, I know that he's not even Bruce Banner, but Amadeus Cho. It's so odd that with Marvel movies being so high profile that Marvel has made so many of their characters unrecognizable and different people entirely than who they are in the films. Now that they finally have Steve Rogers back as Captain America they are making an unrecognizable Doctor Doom into Iron Man? Jesus, that's dumb. Way to blow a chance at getting new readers.
