The sequence where Hawkeye shoots out training drones while being whipped around on a moving platform. This is West Coast Avengers #42 (I think). •• I've mentioned before that I first drew that scene with Hawkeye standing on the ground. Then something in the back of my mind reminded me I was not at DC anymore.

hahahah! I don't know that I have ever actually paid any attention to the type there. The set-up of and emotional impact of that moment made BASHRAM much less powerful than Spider-"man's utterance of, " oh my god"

So many to choose from, but from the moment I first saw this, it "burned" into my brain in a particularly unique and unforgettable way. I think it's because I've experienced that we got over that hump and things are looking up but then tragedy strikes moment more than once in my life, and it was captured perfectly in that scene.

I remember seeing this page for the first time when I was a kid. It was just so different compared to what I had seen before and so full of menace. I loved it.
