The discussion on favourite single JB issue had me wanting to describe the scene that has resonated me with the most so thought I'd start a new thread ...
Alpha Flight 22, the one with Pink Pearl on the cover, has a - I think - two page sequence where Heather is out in the rain with Elizabeth and she sees who she thinks is Mac in the crowds. She chases after him but her pursuit is in vain and Elizabeth puts it down to Heather still grieving for her husband. Yet, we the reader saw Mac too, and this short scene of course brilliantly sets up the return of Omega Flight several issues later.
The pacing of this scene, brief though it is, is perfect and has influenced me in my own writing (of plays). You don't need to do much or say much, to pack a real punch.
Any one else have a single JB scene that has had an impact over all others?

Man of Steel #1, when Clark is trying on the suit for the first time and the issue ends with that iconic full page of Superman. Magic.
