You don't want to know what Ditko does with his old artwork!

double wow. I'd love to see Michael Golden on a book again, even if only as a "guest artist" for a few issues.

Those images are pure magic (no pun intended).  And a great example as to why I would love to see him do something on a regular basis.

Maybe he's at times thrown out art in the past, but if you do a
search for him on comicartfans.com , plenty of his originals
come up

He doesn't use it to patch his shoes, does he, Bob? Sorry. Was that in poor taste? It was only meant in fun....

He also did a gorgeous portfolio of painted color art with Conan. If you think the Dr. Strange stuff is good, try and track the Conan portfolio down. This man can't do enough to suit me. My favorite thing that he did was the Avengers Annual #10. Inked by Armando Gil, it was a classic work of art.

Just re-read that last night in response to this thread. Holds up damn well, doesn't it? Golden also did the coloring as well. I'd love to see it reprinted on better paper like the Tenth Circle trade, as the newsprint bleeds through a bit on my original copy.

Avengers Annual 10 was reprinted in the 1993 trade paperback
THE GREATEST BATTLES OF THE AVENGERS. This trade features the
same kind of non-slick paper as THE TRIAL OF GALACTUS and
CAPTAIN AMERICA: WAR AND REMEMBRANCE, which suits Golden's
art just well as it does JB's!

I wish they still reprinted comics on the stuff.
