It is on prominent display on the entry "impulse buy" island at the front of The Dragon comic store here in Guelph, Ontario.
••

Dare I hope that means they ordered more than one copy?

Four copies on display as of this morning. I would post a photo, but whenever I try on this site, it says the photo is too big. :(

Thank you Bill!   Here we see The Dragon's extremely camera shy staffer Amy with the front display of The Dragon store in Guelph, Ontario.

I received mine in the mail today and all I can say is THANK YOU JB. This book is beautiful and I'm not sure which I like more, the art or the story pieces. All I know for sure is that, flipping through this book, this 50-year-old feels like a kid again; in a good way.

Andy at Carry On Comics in Waterloo, Ontario shows off Stowaway, along with the other adult colouring books he stocks. I think adult colouring books are perceived as having a longer shelf life than comic books, so retailers may be amiable to ordering more copies than just what subscribers pre-ordered.

Received mine yesterday. Beautiful book. My 7 yr old was
with me when I picked it up. Now, my he can pick out JB's
artwork, e en when your throw in Byrne Clones.. I quickly
got a look from him that said, "Hey old man, where's
mine?" So, we ordered two more. One for him and one to
keep uncolored.

Got mine today, very cool. I'm thinking of cutting it apart and scanning it in (probably need another copy) so that I can color it on the iPad Pro as well.

JB, do you think this book would have worked just as well without the text?  The pictures certainly convey a narrative.  Leaving out the text would have left more to the readers' imagination.  What do you think?

Also, the book struck me as family-friendly, all-ages.  What qualifies this (or any) as an "adult" coloring book?  What's the distinction between coloring books for children, and those for adults.?

Since I included the text, what do you think I think?

What qualifies this (or any) as an "adult" coloring book?

••

The fact that it is not targeted at specifically children.

In days of yore, this might have been called a "Juvenile" product, in the sense of Tom Swift, Nancy Drew, "Have Space Suit, Will Travel," or Harry Potter. Unfortunately, that word has picked up its own baggage, as has "adult" and "graphic."
