Giving these as gifts is a great idea - I think I will do the same.  I was in a few bookstores over the weekend, and I was checking out the explosion of coloring book titles on the shelves.  I didn't realize this was such a publishing phenomenon.  I love this trend, but a lot of these books are dreadful.  When you stumble across one with good art, it's magic.  I'm really looking forward to JB's book, as the few images we have seen are just stunning.  And it looks like a lot of fun to color!

I've noticed "adult" coloring books lately at the cashiers stand in my local supermarket. T'will be a surprise (pleasant) if this turns up there!

I've recently started to notice them being prominantly displayed at my local independent pharmacy; right up front as you enter the store.  And more than just a few.

JB's STOWAWAY TO THE STARS is in stores today -- break out the crayolas!
This is a thread that started it all.  If you are not familiar with this book's evolution, then check out the original post and see how it all came to be.

 | am reluctant to try my hand at coloring JB's beautiful drawings for fear
of botching the job, but am going to get a second book for my much
 braver lady to color.

I picked up two copies today. Man it is incredible! Going to take my time with the coloring. There is a lot of detail in each panel. I want to get it right, so no rush. I hope JB will being doing some more. Really like the sci/fi theme for this. It would be cool to see JB do a fantasy one, that would be a good fit for this as well. Thanks JB!!!!!! Going to have some fun with the book.

BTW - My son is a huge Flash fan, so I bought him the Flash colouring book last month. I taped a red crayon to the cover, but no other colours.
