But without growth, there is stagnation.

I agree completely.  I was pretty much just saying that I'm not sure I'm qualified to say there is growth there (a bit like Salieri offering a critique of Mozart, to reference the late Peter Shaffer).

I don't think you have to have the same level of talent, or greater, or worse, to recognize when an artist has grown in ability. I can't play a lick of music, but I can tell the difference in skill of the Beatles earliest recordings from their later works, for instance.

I must say, these pictures from the coloring book are very cool, no matter what!

John, since you are going for a less varied line weight on these images, what inking tool(s) are you using for this project?

Ah, the magic of the interweb!

I have actually said I am using MORE varied line weights, as I would have thought the posted examples would demonstrate.

And it's all PITT pens, as usual.

You should see if PITT needs a spokesperson, you have created a lot of wonderful varied lines and textures with those trusty pens.  Keep up the great work!

Now available on Amazon.

Better yet, start pestering your comic store to order one (or two!) for you.

I notice the Amazon listing say 44 illustrations. That should be 24.

I was about to pre-order and then realized that we may be moving soon. I can't order until I know my address! Dang.
