Just got back from Wizard World Chicago. It's been a good decade since I was last at a con, and man, the memories just came flooding back. So much fun!
I happened to run into our very own Paul Greer, which was like a little celebrity experience for me! Ended up spending a lot of time at Barry Kitson's table, chatting with him and his rep. Ordered an Adam Warlock full body commission, which he said he will mail to me (I'll post it in the New Art thread once I have it).
One table I passed was selling some premium original comic pages. I made the mistake of asking the seller how much a Jim Starlin WARLOCK page was (from his original run in the 70's). Guy rolled his eyes at me and told me 20K. I quickly stepped away from his tables, lest my breathing on the pages devalued them!
All in all, I had a lot of fun. Might have to go to more in the future!
