Hopefully they'll use some CGI to make her costume more silver/ephemeral.

I've been doing some pencil exercises recently ,draping my hoodie over a chair and working on the folds and contours. Man that takes discipline and patience !•• Curiously enough, it was the 3D modeling that most helped improve my drapery. I built a model of Spider-Man fighting Doc Ock, and I wanted the good doctor in something like a lab coat. Couldn't find anything close to what I needed in Poser or online, so I modeled the cloth myself -- which meant figuring out how it worked!

Hmm, 3D modeling. Makes sense. Solve the puzzle in one discipline to help in another.

"(Weird to look at that page. The guys standing in the background. Even that deep into my career, I still hadn't figured out drapery!!)"
I figured that was you saying "Oh, yes! I've worn new heavily starched Dickies work pants..."
Because they really can sort of do that depending on how they were folded!

Silver Banshee (along with the Guardian) might be JB's best costume design EVER (note the amazing use of white!).
My one gripe with it is that it made me think more of voodoo than about the Celtic background she's got.

Just did a little googling. Siobhan has been a busy lass since I let go of her!

Slightly off-topic (speaking of voodoo) Q: JB, did you have anything to do with the Baron Sunday character who debuted after your departure from SUPERMAN? I ask 'cause I seem to recall a sub-plot having to do with voodoo-themed murders before you left.

Yes, I started the Baron Sunday story, and came up with the name. What was subsequently done with the character was not what I planned, but that's okay, since I'd left!!There have been several instances over the years where I have left titles and other writers have picked up on my plans, without asking my permission. Many times literally stuff I'd mentioned in interviews as in the pipeline, but not actually started in the title yet. Baron Sunday was not one of those, of course.

Interesting. I've wondered about that off & on. Also wondered what the Baron had been like had you stayed. Thanks.

Looked up the Silver Banshee SMALLVILLE appearance on YouTube last night. Not much there, but it seems they did a closer "interpretation" of the costume that what we have see thusfar of the SUPERGIRL version. And with an Irish accent!!
