Curious, recently I've heard Shang-Chi
pronounced both with an "I" sound and an
"E" sound. I've always done so with an "e"
sound, but I've heard the other enough to
make me question this.

------

Based on the English translation of his name, the second part is a
romanisation equivalent of qi/ch'i, so the pronunciation would be
"chee".

"Thor vs. Dracula"

That one has happened before. Needless to say, Dracula was sent running!

Invisible Woman could probably surround Grey Gargoyle with her field.
Not sure if the Thing is "stone" and I think Grey Gargoyle could transform him into real stone.

I would like to see the Beast vs Batroc the Leaper. Maybe add the Toad into the mix for comic relief.

That's a good one! I think the Grey Gargoyle's powers would/should work on Ben. While Ben does have a "rocky hide," the Grey Gargoyle seems to turn people into whatever stone-like substance he's made of while also rendering them immobile.

EDITED TO ADD: I could just see Ben rushing in to slug the Grey Gargoyle during a fight, thinking he's immune to his powers, while Reed warns him against it.

Just lost a huge amount of speculation and writing to a bad keystroke...

So, shorter this time:

The FF trapped in the Savage Land in a time long past, so no current SHIELD operations or such are in place to save them. They'd go up against Belasco and whatever baddies he has working for him at the time. Since Belasco's temporally "unstuck," some of those could be current bad guys as well, even future ones... Malice could even show up as a "future" bride of his.

Thor: The Serpent Crown and its originator, the Lemurian Wizard, Naga, take over Odin, Hela, Karnilla, and continue to expand their rule throughout the Nine Worlds, leaving Thor with few allies and no place to turn.

Hulk: Carrion gathers a bunch of Marvel's tiny, wiry, tooth n' claw predators into a criminal gang called "The Rat Squad," who attack the big guy in a series of hit'n'run, "death of a thousand cuts" sort of assaults...

X-Men: Insular and totally up their own backsides with their convoluted continuities and mutant issues, it'd be nice to see them laid low by a group of common bank robbers. An expanded Wrecking Crew, now with Sandman, Quicksand, Hydro-Man, Trapster, and other building-material related baddies would be good for this. Sort of a Masters of Evil vs. the Avengers storyline, except that the arrogant heroes really do sort of have it coming this time around...

Punisher: Not a good guy, no matter what they tell us. Has he ever gone up against the Shroud? The Shroud was a Master of Darkness style crimefighter who ran his own gang of criminals, posing as a small-time criminal mastermind looking to move up in the world. Thus, when he took out a bigger crime boss, it was seen as a territorial move or payback. I'd like to see him do well against the Punisher, but I imagine it would be more "Punisher-esque" to just hang his bullet-riddled corpse and those of his operatives out to dry like a bunch of cheap punks... 'Cause Frank's cool like that, right? Sheesh...
