Putting the blame on the movies doesn't make sense--they have done a very good job of giving Captain America and Thor and the other Avengers different voices/personalities.  The only one I'll give you is Iron Man, who has become very humorous, witty, sharp, and biting--and that is in large part because of Robert Downey, Jr. adlibbing.  That may not be true to the comics version, but I'll argue that it helped make the IRON MAN movie much more popular than anyone might have expected and it also helped start the Marvel Studios cinematic juggernaut.

But, yeah, everyone in the comics is Star-Lord...and Star-Lord is Spider-Man.  And Dr. Strange has been a weird jerk lothario for a few years now.  (But you can't say that's cookie cuttter at least.)

I think this started way way back with Stan Lee's writing. An awful lot of Marvel's heroes in the 1960s had smart alek dialogue as they taunted the villains they were fighting. It worked well for Spider-man, and so it extended to Daredevil, Cap, Iron Man, the Human Torch, The Thing, etc.
----------------------------------
Though the Thing became something of a smart alec, which was a major departure from how he began, I don't think Stan ever had him sounding like Spider-Man.

When I think of one of the more distinctive 'voices' in comics, my thoughts quickly go to the everlovin' blue-eyed Thing and his remarks about Aunt Petunia, the Yangtze Street Gang, Big Brain, Stretch and so on.
