From the front view the house looked to be mostly one level but the back view proves that to be wrong. I thought the moving up and down the 3 stories of Stately Byrne Manor might have been a factor in looking for a new domicile but that doesn't seem to be the case. When I was a kid I dreamed of a multi-story house in which to hatch my devious and sultry plans. Now being close to 42 and with a prosthetic foot, I yearn for flat one level harmony.

Currently I don't have a pool?
Actually (!!) one of the first things I will probably do if I get this place is put some kind of "permanent" cover over the pool. I am not much for splishy-splashing, and as a redhead I tend to burn fast and easy if I get too much (read: any) sun. Wouldn't want to fill it in, as it will be a selling point when that time inevitably cometh, but I don't see much use for it otherwise. And fishing out dead possums is not my idea of a good time. |

Dude,
The possibilities of moving and all the frenzy of "neatening" things up has you clearly not thinking straight. Pool = chicks in bathing suits. Trees around said pool = shade you can sit in and enjoy the aforementioned chicks.
I will also do pool up-keep for original art.

The townhouse I had when I lived out East was similar in that regard...the entry level at the front was the second floor by the time you got to the back, due to the slope in the geography. Very cool place.
This place looks really slick.

I thought the moving up and down the 3 stories of Stately Byrne Manor might have been a factor in looking for a new domicile but that doesn't seem to be the case.***** Stately Byrne Manor is an Escher drawing. As those who have visited will doubtless attest, it is basically impossible to get from one point in the house to any other point in the house without having to climb stairs. The "new place" (still not a done deal) has but one short flight of steps, leading up and down from and to the area that would be my studio. (When I was a wee lad in Canada there was a public service ad that used to run on the CBC that was directed toward helping the aging populace feel better about their passing years. There was only one line I remember -- it was all in rhyme -- and that went "Up those stairs two at a time! Who'd ever know you're 49?" I resolved back then that I would forever go up stairs two at a time (and I mosly do unless I am walking with someone). But last visit to the "new house" I almost killed myself trotting up the stairs when I went one more step than there actually are. Seems the staircase has an odd number of steps!)

There's gotta be at least a few MILF's in the crowd you run with, JB. And if not, change crowds.
