Soon after I learned Byrne Manor was right down the street from where
my boyfriend's parents live in Fairfield I discovered that you had been
living there for 20 years. I did some math and was excited that you
were creating MOS (a huge turning point in my comic reading life) and
many other comics that I've enjoyed while my boyfriend wandered by.
Small world.
I even had Derek's stepfather pick me up a copy of the interview you did with the local newspaper a few months back.
Of course the entire family wasn't quite sure why everytime we visited I was babbling JohnByrnelivesdownthestreet.....

Man,you have a lot of space for yourself ! .
Now, I am waiting to see if someone is going to do the calculation of how may maids Mister B. should employed to have one maid for every 606 sqf ...

JB, is that your step daughter, or just a coincidence?
OOp. Just saw Kieron's name on there, OK.
Did you guys used to have all nite jam sessions in the basement going on way back when?
I'll bet there's even a JB written song or two around there that has nothing to do with Iron Man.
I wish TSG much luck, and seeing as someone in the band is a Zappa fan, I know they're not 'only in it for the money'.
Music rules.

I'll bet there's even a JB written song or two around there that has nothing to do with Iron Man.***** A while back, perhaps even on the old board, I posted a song I wrote when I was 16 or so, a copy of which my Dad had kept. A buddy of mine wrote the music, long gone, but here are the words:
Night, I am alone, I stand alone
Altho the night is ending.
Night, I am alone as stars grow dim.
My love is gone.
Day, night fades away,
Black sky turns grey,
I see the sun is rising now,
Casting its harsh light over me,
My love is gone.
I stand in the lonely light of dawn,
Silence surrounds me.
I wish that the night had stayed,
I need the night to hide me.
Night, I am alone, I stand alone
Altho the night is ending.
Night, I am alone as stars grow dim.
My love is gone.
Isn't it great to be a teenager, and comprehend all the mysteries of the universe?

As a kid though, we feel the Universe revolves around us soley and everything in it for our own amusement.

I just walked by the former Manor this morning trying to rid myself of last nights grandiose buffet. The really did a number on all the bushes in the front yard. They removed almost all of the shrubs including a couple of trees. The house looks almost naked.
It was incredibly pretty on Old Post Road last night since a large number of residents had candles in paper bags lighting up the neighborhood.
